p1nk22Post subject: carcinoma?

Hi I am a first time user on this site, please bear with me. My gran was diagnosed with carcinoma cancer last week. A lump was found in her rectum maybe as far as her colon I'm not sure; this was removed for a biopsy a few months ago. Her symptoms began in 2004 with bleeding from the rectum and bowel problems. We don't know much about this cancer only that it is a skin cancer which appears to be forming inside.
She first went to seek help in January and since then we just assumed it was benign; however they said in a letter that it was carcinoma a few months ago. My gran knew it was cancer but didn't know till last week when she was told officially!
Apparently they've caught it early but my gran is 82, diabetic amongst other old age ailments! I just would like some more information about this cancer please, if anybody out there can do so my family would be most grateful.
